Bab 1045: The Unlucky Wu Heng

Whether it was Wu Heng or those students or Instructor Qian, none of them had expected the cranes to suddenly attack. The level of spiritual power of these cranes was much lower than those of the students. Occasionally, one or two of them would bite back when they were being controlled but most of the time, they were relatively docile.

By the time Instructor Qian and the students reacted, Wu Heng had already been pecked until his body was a bloody mess. Everyone hurriedly ordered the cranes to retreat and rescue Wu Heng.

Although the unlucky Wu Heng's life was not in danger, his injuries were still substantial. The fury that the flock of cranes had held in for the entire night was vented on Wu Heng.

After a flurry of activity, everyone realized that the tail feathers of the Vermillion-beaked Long-feather Cranes had all disappeared!
