It was a part of their world which Alix had not experienced so far, an experience meant for only the top one percent in the country. The experience was not a celebration, it was not an occasion meant for dancing and drinking but rather a business meeting of sorts. It was also not a round table kind of business meeting but actually a funeral.

This funeral was not just any other ordinary one but the funeral for the Chairman of the Shen conglomerate, Shen Xiaoping.

The Shen family was the wealthiest family in the country and no surprise, involved in the world of systems.

Alix had not yet touched them or approached them physically, the only communication between her and the Shen's was through the calls Shen Xiaoping had rejected. Alix had not seen his sudden death coming and she could not tell if it was a blessing or curse to her cause.
