I need to get laid. That is what is going on right now. That is the solution to whatever is going on with me. He can't be my mate. I should have felt the connection by now. I shouldn't be thinking about going to meet Cassidy right now.

Right. 

I grab my phone from my pocket as I continue to walk back home. I dial Colin's number and he answers immediately, his face glaring on the video call. His hair is messy, and his face is red. He looks more relaxed than I have ever seen him. "This better be a fucking emergency,'' he says without even saying hello.

"Rude much brother, can't I just miss you?"
