Bab 101: Chapter 101

The man was walking in the garden when he heard footsteps coming his way.

A smile formed on his face as he looked back. "Grand Duke Beaumont."

Duke Christopher said with a smile as he bowed, "Crown Prince Richard,"

The Crown Prince nodded his head as he looked at his cousin who stood straight looking at him. "The Grand Duke took some time to come,."

"I was working and it does take time to come here from the room. I apologize." The Grand Duke said with a straight face but his tone did not reflect his apology. Grand Duke Christopher's expression was as blank as paper.

"Yes," The Crown Prince's lips curled up as he said, "I forgot how busy you are. For once I thought that you were the man who ran the Empire."

The Grand Duke understood the meaning behind the Crown Prince's words but he did not reply.
