Bab 30: Chapter 30: Sword Shadow in Court Defeats the Enemy
The atmosphere in the courtroom was so heavy that it seemed as if the air had frozen. Everyone in the audience held their breath, staring intently at Dai Shiya and the plaintiff's lawyer, Lawyer Chen, in the dock.
Lawyer Chen pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses, his eyes behind the lenses were shrewd and sharp. "Your Honor, we have new evidence that the evidence Miss Dai submitted before was forged!" He handed the document in his hand to the clerk, with a confident smile on his face.
Dai Shiya's heart sank suddenly, and a chill ran from her feet to her head. She had expected that Lawyer Chen would not give up, but she did not expect that he would be so blatant in confusing right and wrong.
"According to our investigation, Miss Dai had an argument with someone before the incident and threatened to retaliate against the other party. And this so-called 'evidence' was most likely forged by her to protect herself!" Lawyer Chen's voice was loud and confident, as if everything he said was an indisputable fact.
There was a low murmur of discussion in the courtroom, and people looked at Dai Shiya with suspicion and scrutiny. After getting the judge's permission, Wei Qing walked quickly to the witness stand and handed the USB drive to the clerk. The content of the USB drive was quickly projected onto the big screen. It was a video of Dai Xue and Lawyer Chen conspiring to frame Dai Shiya in a secret base. The picture was clear and the sound was loud. Every word was like a heavy hammer, hitting the heart of everyone present.
There was an uproar in the courtroom, people were talking and talking. Lawyer Chen's face turned pale instantly, he looked at the screen in disbelief, beads of sweat oozing from his forehead.
"This... this is not true! This video is fake!" Lawyer Chen's voice trembled and his eyes dodged around in panic.

Lawyer Chen's face became even uglier. He opened his mouth, but found himself speechless.
The courtroom was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. Everyone's eyes were focused on Lawyer Chen, waiting for his explanation.
However, Lawyer Chen just slumped in the chair with empty eyes, as if he had lost all hope.
"Lawyer Chen," the judge's voice broke the silence, "do you have anything else to say?"
Lawyer Chen raised his head and slowly turned his gaze to Dai Shiya in the dock. His eyes were complicated, with shock, anger, and a hint of... fear?

He looked at Dai Xue in panic, hoping that this "financial sponsor" could give him some instructions. Wei Qing looked calm and answered calmly, "Lawyer Chen, I cannot reveal the source of this video for the time being, but I can guarantee that it is absolutely true and valid, and I have a way to prove it."

She paused slightly, her eyes swept across everyone in the courtroom, finally landing on Lawyer Chen, with a confident arc at the corner of her mouth.
"As for the source of the evidence that Lawyer Chen is questioning..." Dai Shiya picked up a folder from her seat and slowly walked to the witness stand, "I will prove to the court that the evidence I submitted is true and valid!"
Lawyer Chen looked at the folder in Dai Shiya's hand, and suddenly had an ominous premonition in his heart. Dai Xue was intimidated by the judge's majesty and reluctantly shut her mouth, but her eyes were full of resentment when she looked at Dai Shiya. The bell for adjournment rang, and Dai Shiya walked out of the court accompanied by her lawyer. Although she had produced key evidence, she knew in her heart that this battle was far from over. Dai Xue would not give up easily, and she must be prepared to face a bigger storm.
