In the room where the ongoing events in the labyrinth of terror were being observed live...
"What does this mean, Grimgar?"
"What do you mean, Gurtruk?"
"Don't mock me by pretending not to understand. How is it possible that there's a boss room without a guardian and that participants have to fight each other?"
"Why are you asking me this question? You're not unaware that even though I am the architect of the labyrinth, I'm not its true creator, right? So, why are you trying to blame this inconsistency on me?"
"An inconsistency?"
"Bilk?"
"You call what's happening in the labyrinth right now an inconsistency? You change disciples from one day to the next without really justifying yourself. This one shows up at the tournament with equipment comparable to ours, even though we had decided not to offer such things to our disciples. And now in the labyrinth, there are boss rooms where participants have to fight to the death?"
One day, I discovered that what I truly loved doing in life was reading novels, discovering new works, imagining new concepts to make a character I loved stronger, and, why not, creating my own character in a work and evolving them in my imagination. I would sometimes spend hours doing this without realizing it, with a smile on my face.
Unfortunately, as time passes, we grow older, and with that comes responsibilities. Especially being African, where society always frowns upon someone who, at a certain age, still maintains a passion they developed since adolescence. I can still hear them saying to me: "It's time for you to grow up, Alban."
So, I recently found myself having to choose between my passion for reading and my ever-burgeoning imagination, and my need to create a monthly income, even if it meant having to abandon my passion.
I ultimately decided to combine the two by creating my own original work: "The War of the Primals". It's still in its early stages, and I promise to do my best not to disappoint you.
So, even if it's a bit selfish of me, I would really appreciate it if you could help me get it known. A comment to let me know if you enjoy it would help me a lot, you have no idea.
As improving is also at the heart of my goals, I would also be delighted to read your constructive criticism.
Thank you very much, dear reader.
