Bab 101: Faster, Arthur!

Lyara and Adall's clone were now sitting in a meditation position in the cave he used when he needed a place away from prying eyes to absorb purified core fragments in the forest near Hector.

Upon their arrival, the place already had new occupants, for as soon as they took a step inside, the thunderous roar of an iron-maned bear greeted them.

A family, which due to recent changes in the difficulty level of the forest had decided to migrate to new horizons, was squatting in the cave for a few hours of rest before continuing their journey. Unfortunately for them, the former occupant had returned, accompanied by a very angry wolf-woman.

There were only five bears, so Adall handed a sword to Lyara and let her handle the problem. It was a real waste of purified core fragments, but a good opportunity for her to stretch her muscles. He also took the opportunity to assess her actual combat abilities.
