Bab 108: Cadaverous Explosion

The battlefield was thick with tension, but an oppressive silence suddenly fell as the Asura Adall, shrouded in his dark violet aura, murmured the words: Cadaverous Explosion.

This barely audible whisper for the strongest resonated with terrifying intensity for the one crawling among the corpses. Cyanis, the serpentine demonic creature, dashed at full speed towards Adall, determined to strike him down before Tharion lost his life.

His speed, usually unmatched, allowed him to move without fear. But this time, something was off. A cold shiver ran down his spine as he passed over the inert bodies scattered around him.

These corpses suddenly began to tremble, their limbs twitching grotesquely. A sickly red glow illuminated their empty eye sockets, as crimson strands of energy burst from their wounds.

The venomous blue mamba realized, albeit too late, that he had just entered a deadly trap, carefully orchestrated by his target.
