Of course, while many were impressed, a few others couldn't help but sneer. "Giving away the one thing that made their old aristocratic family unique for temporary clout… no wonder they declined so fast."

Emilia naturally wasn't very interested in their gossip, but she still quite liked how the ring looked. With a faceted royal gray gemstone and an intricate platinum band, it might look unremarkable at first glance, but the more one looked, the more exceptional it started to appear.
