Ren grabbed Fang's hand and stood up. "We're done here, Professor Luke," he said coldly. "Fang doesn't need any further interferences in his life, and if you indeed are his well-wisher as you claim to be, you will keep a respectful distance and refrain from obstructing our lives any further."

Professor Luke opened his mouth to say something, but Ren snapped his fingers and Wade woke up immediately, looking around in confusion.

"Wade, Professor Luke, I'm afraid Fang and I need to leave immediately to attend to certain urgent household matters. Please feel free to order whatever you wish; it will be on my account. I especially recommend the branzino, it should be Wade's favourite. Please excuse us," Ren said smoothly, and walked out with Fang before either Wade or Professor Luke could say anything.
