'Arghh' My grunt of pain went muffled as I felt my mind clear, recounting the recent events that occurred to me.

'Where am I?' I questioned myself, as I seemed unable to open my mouth.

My eyes were closed, my mouth was blocked, and my limbs were tied, making me unable to move.

I have been in this position since I regained consciousness.

The last thing I recalled was how some cultivators had attacked my hideout, destroying everything I held dear.

They thrashed all of my belongings. I tried resisting, but it seemed to be of no use.

I was overpowered by just one of them, and there were four more who had laughed at seeing me on the ground.

Their creepy laughter still resonated inside me, making me tremble in fear.

They had laughed like maniacs while thrashing around, beating me unconscious.

I don't know how long I have been here.
