After knocking Sadie out, I was left with a difficult choice: leave her in stasis for the remainder of her pregnancy and store her here in the Medical Facility, or release her back into the wild.

Each had its drawbacks; if I were to keep her here, with how often people are in and out of Gnarnia, questions would be posed; after all, it's not exactly a great look having a bloated pregnant chick locked in a recovery tank.

Whereas if I let her go back home, I didn't doubt that she would end up trying to kill herself a second or maybe a third time. Honestly, she was more trouble than she was worth, and I had half a mind to follow through with my threat and cut the kid out of her abdomen.

'But if I do that, then it'll be my responsibility, and right now, that is the last thing I need on my plate.' Massaging my temples, I reached forward and placed my hand just above Sadie's heart and focused on the Psy-Tag I had left behind on her months ago.
