There is something so satisfying, so PRIMAL, about the sensation of a blade digging into flesh. For me, it's extremely difficult to put it into words.

It's like that first scoop into a fresh jar of peanut butter, or taking the plastic off of a screen, just…so…damn…satisfying.

As my dual-pronged claw traveled down Sadie's chest, I watched in fascination as the blood pooled around the straight centimeter-deep incisions I was creating along the way.

Popular forms of media and even old stories will tell you that revenge isn't sweet, that it doesn't make things better, but as I began carving parallel lines across the helpless girl's chest, I can tell you without an ounce of remorse or doubt, it DOES make you feel better.
