Bab 55: End of First Week in the Past

Throughout the 1970s and into the 1980s, numerous letters would arrive at the San Francisco Police Department, each of which claimed to be from The Zodiac, but nearly all of them were proven fake for one reason or another.  

With The Zodiac having never been caught and eventually falling silent, the case went cold, and no one was ever brought to justice for the murders; however, NUMEROUS other killings were tied to him online and by third parties, some of which had a high likelihood of being committed by The Zodiac.  

Still, the legend would become a deeper mystery as time went on, and dozens of people were named suspects. 

Taking a deep breath, I closed the book and stared off into the distance of my imaginary library.  

'So many potential suspects, and unfortunately, many have already died by 1993; still, I will pick up this case and see it through till the end, or at the very least, until the trail goes completely cold.'
