She. Heard him. But she clearly didn't understand him.
Because it sounded like he said they'd be going off on a hunting trip. Into the forest. While it was still raining nonstop.
Why was he even dragging her along? It wasn't as though he needed her there to hunt, and it wasn't like she could help.
He glanced at her. "The hunting trip will be a week long."
"...You want me to be riding in the rain with you for a week?"
He scoffed. "Would you like to remain in the palace without me for a week."
Yes.
She would like that very much!
It wouldn't be as good as when she was trying to actively escape - when she was properly prepared - but it would give her a lot of freedom!
His lips quirked up slightly, as if reading her expression. Or, perhaps, the answer was so obvious she didn't need to say or even think it in the first place.
