The next morning dawned bright and clear, the sun casting a golden hue over the landscape as Elara, Garrick, Marcus, and Isolde set out toward their next destination: the Caves of Taranis. According to the ancient texts, the third artifact lay hidden deep within the labyrinthine tunnels, guarded by both traps and illusions designed to test the minds and hearts of those who dared to enter.
As they traveled, the mood was buoyant. Elara felt invigorated by their recent successes, the kiss with Garrick still lingering in her thoughts. She stole glances at him, finding comfort in his presence, a silent promise of support through whatever trials awaited them.
"Do you think the caves will be as perilous as the ruins?" Isolde asked, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled over the group.
"Probably," Garrick replied, glancing at Elara. "But I believe we're ready for whatever challenges we face."
Elara nodded, a smile playing on her lips. "We've proven our strength time and again. Together, we can overcome anything."
