However, this guy wasn't up to par yet, and the soldiers under his command were too wild to be controlled by someone so green yet so full of himself. But he didn't want this guy to mark a black spot against him in his report to the Duke, so he patiently explained, "What else can we do if we don't let him go? After all, he is a Lord. We can't just attack him in broad daylight in Bruce, right? If word gets out, both you and I will end up on the gallows.
