Bab 117: Death Sentence (2)

The assassin raised both daggers in preparation for Elion's attack. One of the daggers, charged with a strong aura, easily blocked Elion's strike.

His other free hand moved closer to Elion, aiming to slice open his abdomen.

Elion kicked off the ground, jumping high as the assassin's dagger sliced through the air. Abyss Reaver followed his movement, thrusting toward the assassin's head once again.

The moment Elion thought his katana had struck the assassin, his figure blurred, and he only hit an afterimage. 'How fast can this guy be?' He thought.

As soon as Elion landed on the ground, just behind where the assassin had been moments before, a dagger moved toward his back, aiming for his neck.

Elion threw himself to the ground, focusing his aura on his left leg before kicking hard behind him. The sudden movement caught the assassin by surprise.
