Bab 723: 723. The Third Day

Today was the last day of her bed rest, and Mauve couldn't wait to be able to walk around again. Kieran had not been very pleased with her after he found out that she had left her room regardless of his instructions. He didn't speak about it, but he had vehemently repeated that she should remain in bed for the meantime.

The headache didn't return after the first day, which was a good thing, as Mauve didn't have to take the herbs again, but it made Mauve wonder if Kieran had given her too much time to rest. The days had dragged on, and by the end of the second day, Mauve had wanted to go against Kieran's instructions several times, but at last, the final day was here, and it was currently time for the second meal.

She hummed as she walked side by side with Jael towards the dining hall. He gave her an amused look, but Mauve was completely oblivious to it as she kept at the tone.

"What's got you in such a good mood?" he asked.
