Cherri ended up in the hospital to regrow her skin where the toxins had obliterated it, and Mana managed to heal solely with Fluffy's help alone; but it didn't make things easier for them. Lex was still gone, and being that the city knew of Mana's mytho status, they blamed her for his demise; everyone except Cherri. Mana knew she didn't have much time left in the city, she was being slowly ostracized, and was going to head out towards Midflora tomorrow to make things easier. 

"Unfortunately, this is what it takes to be a heroine," Fluffy began, "if it wasn't for bad things happening, heroes and heroines wouldn't be a thing." Mana only gave him a smile. "You have to rise from the despair, Mana."
