Nesrin stilled all of sudden, hearing an unexpected sound from behind. 

A shadow loomed closer but she couldn't afford to let anyone get an upper hand when her breaths were on the edge of dying. She will be defenseless any moment and nothing scared her more than the fear of death, nothing enraged her more than the thought of someone daring to erase her.

One of the magus had survived and they have barely taken a step when Nesrin gripped the stake tightly and used all her body force to pin the cult member down. There was a pained gasp as the hood fell back.

Nesrin was about to plunge the stake when she froze.

A pair of frightfully moist eyes looked back at her.
