Ken stared at Grace and saw she was serious about him leaving. What happened to their friendship? He thought.

"Be careful, Grace," he muttered before he walked away, and Raymond turned to Grace.

"How were your results?"

Huh?

She was amazed at how quickly he changed the topic. "It was good."

"Hmm, do they usually gift students who passed their final exams?" he asked while deep in thought, and her face brightened.

"Yes"

"Mr. Xu, can I choose my gift?"

He nodded; after all, he could afford everything. "I want Ancaan to be my prom date," she blurted, and he frowned at her.

"Just recently, my friend made everyone believe that he would be my prom date. And I…"

"You?"

"I really wanted to go with you, but I know you won't agree to attend some college prom." She didn't raise her head because she was nervous.

Raymond placed his hand on her head and said, "You should go in."
