One week later

"So are you guys dating?"
Lizzie sat across from Hope at the lunch table just asking questions every second she could get.
"Well...we didn't really ask if we wanted to date but I assume we are because it's been a week and I have held his hand,kissed him a lot so I would assume we are dating"
Hope wrote down some of her history paper for class today,while Lizzie just kept asking questions.
"Do you love him?"
"I-I don't know"
Hope wrote some more down but then she started to think more into it.
"Maybe"
"You totally love him. OMG!!!!!!"
Lizzie geeked out all over the love Hope has For Tyler.
"Quiet down. Me and him have been dating for a week now without anything getting in the way of us"
Those where the words Hope had to say before the whole school looked at the two people that where standing in the doorway just walking closer and closer to Hope and Lizzie.
"Umm...I should get to class"
Lizzie stood up out of her seat,grabbing her papers and book bag,then leaving the lunchroom while Hope turned around to see two familiar faces that she use to see a lot growing up.
"Aunt Rebekah...Marcel? What are you guys doing here?"
Hope asked because she knew it couldn't be something good.
"We need you to come home"
Rebekah and Marcel sat across from Hope in the other chairs.
"What your aunt is trying to say...is New Orleans is under great danger and we are supposed to protect you but...the only way we can save the city is to...bring you there to helps us save it"
".....when do we leave?"
Hope asked because she knew she would have to break the news to Tyler but she wanted to take her time with it.
"Well...I was talking to your aunt freya and me and Marcel decided we need to leave by tomorrow morning"
"...but- ok...I just have to finish school for the day and I'll pack my bags tonight...meet me outside of the school tomorrow morning?"
Hope asked but Marcel and Rebekah where curious by what all Hope had to do before she left.
"Ok...we will see you tomorrow little one"
Marcel and Rebekah got up from the chairs and each kissed hopes head before they walked out of the cafeteria.
But in those moments Hope felt she and Tyler where just getting these good between them and now she's leaving for god knows how long.
But she knew she had to tell him. So she got up from her seat,grabbed her stuff and walked to Tyler's dorm,hoping he was there.

"Hey"
Hope looked at Tyler who was leaning against his door with a smile on his face.
"Hey"
"Can we talk..."
In those moments Tyler knew something was wrong because Hope didn't smile at him back.
"What's going on?"
"....I'm leaving the school for a while....I'm going home to New Orleans...something is wrong with the city. It's under attack and the only way we can save it is...me fighting whatever is attacking it"
Hope looked at Tyler with a little bit of fear in her eyes that Tyler noticed.
"It's to dangerous. What if you get hurt? Or die for that matter...you say your the one who's afraid of loving someone but look at me right now, your going back home to risk your life for a city"
"It's not like that...I will be back soon..I leave tomorrow morning and I'll come back..."
Hope stopped to think of when she would be back.
"When will you be back? A few Days? months? Years?"
Tyler questioned Hope.
"....Tyler I'll be back I will be fine. I have to save the city I love"
Hope couldn't even look at his face, she knew what she was doing was wrong,just leaving the man she thinks she loves for who knows how long.
"And what about me? I won't be fine, your not saving me. Your leaving me here just as you did on the dock four months ago....this isn't right Hope. You can't leave people and...if you leave I'm not staying"
He looked into her eyes for a brief moment as she looked into his.
"I'm going with you...because I promised you when we started are relationship I will do everything beside you, I won't ever leave you alone and a promise is a promise....I'll see you tomorrow morning luv"
"I was hoping you would come with"
Hope leaned in and kissed him for a little while but shortly had to break the kiss because they had to get there bags packed and get some sleep.
"One you are done packing. Come to my room"
Hope stepped back from Tyler and walked the other way towards her dorm.

"Hope why do you have to leave. It's like you guys are both leaving to randomly get married and have children and then show up years later us not knowing what the hell happened."
Lizzie sat on hopes bed while Hope put each piece of clothing into her bag.
"Yea that's a bit much. Lizzie first I'm not marrying anyone and….the whole children thing Is not happening, I'm just going home to spend time with my family and Tyler wants to come with"
Hope couldn't tell Lizzie the truth about New Orleans,not when she knows her life is at risk of all of it.
"Now please let me finish packing so I can get sleep"
"Yea sure. I'll see you soon Hope"
Lizzie hugged Hope one last time before she walked out of her dorm.
"Hey love. You look gorgeous as always but…something looks like it's bothering you"
Tyler stood in the doorway just looking at Hope.
"I didn't tell Lizzie about what is actually going on in New Orleans. I'm a liar and a coward"
Hope looked at Tyler who was standing in the doorway.
"Darling your no such thing"
Tyler walked closer to Hope.
"….I lied to her and she's my best friend….deep down I knew if I do die while protecting the city then…she won't even know till her father tells her"
Hope had a tear run down her face as she looked at Tyler who's heart was broken just seeing how upset she was.
"Your not going to die. I would rather destroy the world to save you…then watch you die with it"
Tyler kissed her softly.
"T-Tyler…I-I love you"
Hope admitted to Tyler.
Tyler smiled softly as he placed his hand in hers and said "I love you to hope"
"….could you stay with me tonight"
Hope asked because if this was her last night in the Salvatore school she would want to be with Tyler the whole night.
"Ofc. I'll go get into Pajamas and I'll be back in a few minutes and we can stay with each other all night till the sun comes up."
Tyler smiled at Hope and kissed her again before he walked out of the dorm and over to his.
Hope got in light grey sweat pants with a dark grey t-shirt while Tyler got dressed in Sweat pants and no shirt because he doesn't sleep in t-shirts.

"I'm back"
Tyler walked into the room with black sweats pants on and no shirt witch socked Hope a lot because when she just looked at him she couldn't help to blush.
"So I brought popcorn and all of the Harry Potter movies so we might get through one or two but I thought we could finish the rest in New Orleans"
Tyler walked over to Hope who was already laying in bed just exhausted.
"Yea that's sounds nice"
Hope softly said as Tyler Turned on the first movie and sat the popcorn on the nightstand next to the bed while he lied down next to Hope.
"You are going to be fine and we will be back here soon"
Tyler wrapped his arm around Hope who then rested her head on his chest where she felt safe.
"Goodnight"
Tyler kissed Hope head.
"Goodnight"
Next morning
"We are all packed into the car"
Rebekah put hopes bags into the back of the car while Tyler walked out of the school in jeans with a white button up shirt.
"Marcel,Rebekah this is Tyler Baron…my boyfriend"
Hope grabbed Tyler's hand as Rebekah and marcel looked at one another and smiled.
"Nice to meet both of you"
Tyler shook both of there hands as marcel walked over to the drivers side of the car where he got in.
"We will be In New Orleans by 12:00am"
Marcel mentioned as Rebekah got into the passenger seat while Hope and Tyler sat in the back of the car.
"Let's go home"
Rebekah said as Hope rested her head on Tyler's shoulder while he wrapped his around her.
The car drove off away from the school while Hope and Tyler looked out the window just admiring there last moments in mystic falls…..
"Are new beginning"
Hope looked up at Tyler.
"A new beginning"
Tyler smiled as they both kissed.
