Here's the next chapter:
"The Tournament of Mortals"
Ed explained to the group, "We host a tournament for the mortal world, humans, and see how powerful they are, to help us."
The Proxies nodded in agreement, but then Ed looked around, realizing, "Wait, where's the God of Reincarnation's proxy, Era?"
The room fell silent, and the Proxies looked at each other, suddenly realizing they had forgotten about her.
"Damn, we forgot about her," Ares muttered.
Just then, the door burst open, and Era walked in, a bit out of breath. "Sorry I'm late, I had some stuff to do."
The Proxies stared at her, relieved. "Era, thank goodness you're here," Ed said. "We were just discussing the tournament."
Era smiled, her eyes sparkling. "I'm ready when you are. Let's see what these mortals are capable of."
The Proxies nodded, and Ed continued, "Let's get started then. We'll host the tournament, and may the strongest mortal win."
The room erupted in agreement, and the Proxies began making preparations for the Tournament of Mortals.
