Kai and the three adventurers he had helped finally reached the guild, exhausted but grateful for their rescue. As they walked in, Kai turned to the swordsman and asked, "Hey, do you know who that mysterious kid was? The one who froze the troll with a single strike?"
The swordsman's expression turned serious. "Ah, you mean G? He's one of the bodyguards of Lord Mayor Barry Green. Rumor has it, he's only 15 years old."
Kai's eyes widened in surprise. "That young? What's his story?"
The swordsman leaned in, his voice lowering. "G is what they call a Beast Tamer. He has the ability to tame and control powerful creatures, like that ice Komodo dragon lizard he summoned earlier."
Kai's eyes nearly popped out of his head. "An ice Komodo dragon? How is that even possible?"
The swordsman explained, "Beast Tamers have a special gift that allows them to communicate with creatures and form bonds with them. They can then summon these creatures to fight alongside them. G's abilities are particularly impressive, even among other Beast Tamers."
Kai's mind was reeling. He had never heard of such a thing before. "So, you're saying that G is powerful because of his ability to tame and control creatures?"
The swordsman nodded. "Exactly. And it's not just limited to combat. Beast Tamers can also use their abilities for other purposes, like transportation or reconnaissance."
Kai's eyes widened as he realized the implications. This was another way to gain power, one that didn't rely solely on physical strength or magic. He made a mental note to learn more about Beast Tamers and their abilities. Little did he know, his encounter with G was only the beginning of a new chapter in his adventure.
