Bab 52: Hot Bath

I watched with a nonchalant look, as the Alpha's mistress glared at me like I had just told her to jump into the biggest ocean in the world. Wait, what had she been expecting from me? she had said that I stank, a statement which I entirely agree with for the stench and presence of blood over me was beginning to nauseate me-I needed a hot bath, for a good cleansing. But still, she should be leaving, not standing there looking like me like a sheep. What was her problem?

"I will get back to you, slave..." she stated, and I shrugged, cocking my eyebrow at her, indicating that she should use the door. Not that I wasn't bothered by her threat. No, not that. Actually, I was. It was just that I didn't want her to get a thrill at seeing me afraid, that would be a double defeat for me. It was better that I wait to see and participate in her to be well-laid plans. But till then, the false brave façade would have to be kept up.
