Bab 19: Chapter 19: Half-Witch?

Leonel POV

“You’re dreaming,” Clare bit out at me.

I felt my heart drop at her tone and at her words. I couldn’t see a way not to be entirely offended at that moment. I was offering her absolutely everything, and the best of absolutely everything. I offered her a place to rule by my side. And she still refused me, like what I had to give her was nothing.

It wasn’t that I hadn’t heard her when she brought up all those arguments. But really, what were those kinds of arguments seriously about. Those were not things for her and I to discuss. Those were things for the Alpha of Blue Moon to bring to me. As far as I was concerned, she belonged to the Avondale pack, and that was all.

I let go of her and stood up from the bed. I grabbed a pair of pants and pulled them on. I took one of my shirts and tossed it to her. She put her arms through the sleeves and tied it tight around her quickly.
