Bab 35: Ava's arrival
"come in ", Su Cheng pushed open the door .
" Good morning president I am here to report today's iternity ", seeing Mo Jingzhi nod he started to report .
" President are there any instructions ", Mo Jingzhi waved his hands: " That's it".
When Su Cheng was about to go back Mo Jingzhi stopped him :"Keep a look at A.I department" .
Mo Jingzhi didn't specify but Su Cheng immediately understood what he meant was to keep a look at Anna so nobody bullies her.
Ceo now valued miss Anna more and more it was just a period of time until she became his mistress .
" Ok president", he walked out of the office gave all the instructions needed .
Meanwhile Mo Jingzhi inside couldn't concentrate on his work today he kept thinking about Anna he was distracted he really wanted to start working but couldn't .
Mo Jingzhi swept the document in front of him opened his pc started typing something a few seconds later surveillance of the whole Mo corps appeared in front of him .
He again typed something what appeared on the screen now became was surveillance of AI department.
He accurately spotted Anna discussing something with her colleagues in the beige suit she looked like a strong business women the leadership she showed suppressed many people her expression cold but she explained something very patiently to each person.
He kept looking at the screen for a long time he didn't notice someone knocking the door Su Cheng pushed open the door .
"President there is a meeting of the investment department in 10 minutes ", Su Cheng's voice brought Mo Jingzhi back from daze he quickly closed the surveillance nodded.
After ten minutes he slowly walked out of his office and entered the conference room everyone was already waiting he walked towards the main seat sat down . Everyone was immediately nervous president would always pinpoint every single mistake in the weekly report meeting then they would have start working overtime for a few days .
The manager started reporting but as time went by his the conference only had his voice time kept ticking he became more and more nervous ceo didn't interrupt throughout the report does that mean his report had a lot of mistakes and he didn't even bother to help him change it.
While everyone but was exhausting their mental strength about ceo's silence Mo Jingzhi was absent minded he didn't hear a word all that was in his mind was Anna's figure .
" Ceo,Ceo it's over " Su Cheng voice brought him back to the meeting he was more and more distracted thinking about Anna .
"Good ",With that he stood up walked out of his office.
Everybody in the conference room was stunned ceo didn't scold them today praised them also the meeting ended more earlier that usually they thought they might be hallucinating.
Everyone subconsciously looked at Su Cheng
seeing that he became the centre of attention Su Cheng coughed :" Keep it up " then he followed Mo Jingzhi.
while Anna was busy understand the work of A I department although she was very proficient in this field she was now the project head with her she needed to look out at her other colleagues so she slowly understood everything.
She then came up with a new project plan explained everything thing to all the people in the department It was already time for lunch she was still working,she had a habit of completing work at hand before taking a break so she didn't bother to take a break. Everyone in the department started walking out of the department for lunch most of them asked her but she denied politely.
She was working seriously when her phone rang she didn't even look at the mobile screen picked it up while working .
" hey did you have lunch?" a magnetic voice transmitted through her phone she was startled only to realise it was Mo Jingzhi.
"Umm no I will eat after completing the work at hand." she didn't know why but she subconsciously felt guilty.
" When did Mo cooperation started abusing employees? " she could hear his mild anger through the phone .
"Come up immediately " , without giving her a chance to speak he hung up .
Anna slowly packed up everything made her way to the highest floor she knocked on the door .
" Come in " when Anna entered the office her sight went to the figure sitting on his office chair seriously working she was so mesmerized by his serious figure she didn't notice that the man who was looking down a moment ago slowly looked up at her .
" Sit for a while" hearing his voice she noticed his gaze was slightly embarrassed she then slowly walked towards the sofa and sat down .
Soon there was a knock on the door Su Cheng entered with food he arranged everything and made his way out . Mo Jingzhi saw it and sat down beside Anna .
Anna didn't notice the food at first she was looking at Mo Jingzhi but when she started eating she saw the food in her plate were all country I's dishes although she ate the dishes here now that was all because of Mo Jingzhi's cooking skills but when he was in office he clearly couldn't make time for that so he ordered everything to her liking she felt something in her heart was slowly melting.
"Let's eat " , Mo Jingzhi and Anna started eating . Although the food was not much to her taste she could still bare it after thinking about having Mo Jingzhi's food tonight.
Anna didn't notice that slowly she started spending more and more time with him giving him a lot of importance.
Airport of imperial capital
A female figure emerged out of the airport carrying her luggage she looked around sighed happily finally she can find an excuse to live in the same country as boss . who can blame her after so many years this is the first time they have separated .
She took out her mobile phone was about to call Anna when a gentle male voice sounded beside her : " Excuse me are you doctor Ava I am Lu Jinnian ."
Hearing the voice she looked up at the man he clearly had a gentle expression with a smile but the smile didn't reach his eyes he looked so alienated from everyone.
She looked at him and nodded: " Hi did bos opps I mean Anna send you to pick me up ."
" Yes I am her friend" , Ohh Ann had such a handsome friend. She nodded in response.
" So do you want to rest or visit Anna but she might be busy right now." Lu Jinnian was anxious to take her to the hospital but seeing that she had just landed may be jet lagged he didn't mention it .
" Take me to the hospital " , Lu Jinnian was startled he didn't expect for her to directly go to the hospital but he drove towards the direction of the hospital this was clearly best for him.
