Morning came and the sun welcomed a new day as it illuminated the ground beneath.

Ulf was in Vestfold, awakening with a naked Anja, asleep beside him.

Ulf knew that this was all too deep rooted to be solved with violence, he needed to find out the allies that Anja had within Vestfold so he could uproot them all at once.

Ulf was tempted, he didn't know which stance to take but he also knew that Anja was a threat.

Or was she? Ragnar was an usurper after all so if anything, she was loyal to her Kingdom.

She chose to follow the one that was considered legitimate.

Ulf knew Birger was far more dangerous than he had anticipated and with him believed to be dead.

He could move without a care in the world with no one any wiser.

Ulf knew he couldn't speak otherwise he would be exiled as this was a direct betrayal of not only Askild but Ragnar.

But it he took this throne then he wouldn't need to worry about that.
