Bab 132: Solar Descent's Return

Alaric ordered a march directly through the sandstorm. The visors he had the craftsmaster union create were for this very purpose after all. 

Though, he was beginning to regret not researching the production method for a weight-lightening formation. Although it was a rank-2 formation, it still would have been perfect for this trip.

Marching through a new environment, a sandy one at that, with the weight of armor, weapons, and supplies on the army's back was no fun. Thankfully, Alaric made sure to have the cartwheels easily replaceable with a set of skis, thus creating sleds to traverse the desert more easily.

'This is really and truly dreadful,' Alaric thought, thankful that the sandstorm at least kept the surroundings cool, willfully ignorant of how lucky he was to be atop a horse.
