Bab 29: Not one place

I woke up after two hours or so. Pathetic.

I was in a dark room and the only light I could see came from the crack that led to the corridor, which moved when people passed by. It was large, with the walls lined with bookshelves and the occasional picture with a frame covered in gold leaf.

My head was going to explode at any moment and my eyes hurt too much to keep them open for long. I mumbled something I can't remember, but Brian laughed.

"Are you feeling better?" He held out a glass of water, which I didn't see and almost knocked over as I pulled the blankets over me.

"Don't talk so loud," I whispered.

"But I'm not doing it. Take this, it will do you good."

"What is it?"

"What happened to you?"

"I don't know. I was blocked, I couldn't get out, my brain wouldn't go... I saw everything from the outside."

He got up and sat on the corner of the bed to help me sit up.

"What did he say?"
