You'd be all bold and brave when confronting a jerk of a husband who thinks of you as a gold digger but when nobody is watching, you will be curled up in a ball in your bed, shivering and crying because you are having a nightmare. How can I not worry about you?" he smiled, more of a smile meant to mock himself for acting this way despite claiming to not believe in love all his life.
