"I will kill Rainard, Laurance, and Damien if you step out of here," Matilda said with an infuriated look on her grimace.

Charlotte again faced Matilda. "Stop threatening me. Do you think your father will spear you after finding all this?" she questioned her.

Matilda lowered her hand from her cheek. "I will break your hand, Charlotte. You should not have raised your hand at me," she said and looked at Charlotte's hand in which she had the pendant. She walked past Charlotte in anger when encountered Édouard.

He saw the angry look on her face as she approached him.

"Where is Charlotte?" Édouard asked, not looking into her eyes.

Matilda placed her hand on his shirt. He finally gazed at her and yanked her hand off his chest. She chuckled and looked at her hand. "Soon, you have to hold this hand, Édouard." She again glanced at him and continued, "You should not have brought her here."
