Tarou was very confused, he couldn't understand why Sarra was acting that way.

Indeed she was awake and she could recognize him, but why she was acting like that? He was sure that she also had feelings for him.

Sarra used her magic also to prevent Alan and Aaron from taking those poor women which made Aaron very pissed:

When Aaron was about to attack, Tarou stopped him.

- DON'T! LET'S GO...

- What are you saying? We can't leave them and go!

- Your brother is right, we can't fight each other. Let's retreat for now. There is still time before the wedding.
