The golden sphere floated and emitted a radiant glow, resembling a miniature sun, while it was enveloped by blue flames.

Dylan shouted out of excitement:

- IT'S WORKING!

Sarra and Laila were equally astonished.

- That's the son!

They were relieved after making sure that the sacrifice was not killing an innocent child.

- Now, we must kill that thing!

- But how?

Dylan attempted to intervene, but his hand got singed by the flames.

- Ouch... I can't approach it any closer!

Suddenly, Laila had an idea.

- Perhaps we should douse the flames with water!

- Alright, let's try it.

Sarra employed her magical abilities to pour water onto the sphere, but it had no effect as the water instantly evaporated.

Dylan confirmed his doubts:

- It won't work. These flames appear to be similar to the ones we encountered in Mexico; they're far from ordinary.
