Bab 106: To Enjoy

In the blink of an eye, it was already the end of the month. After Su Jin came back from the smelting workshop, she asked Mingyue to help her pack up for the journey to the county city tomorrow.

Shuanghe Town was about four hours drive away from Anle County. It would take them eight hours to drive back and forth. Thus, Su Jin had to spend the night there, so Mingyue had to pack her luggage.

The next morning, the sun had just risen and the fog had not completely dissipated yet. Su Jin and Dai Zixian got on the carriage and went to the Bai residence to meet up with Mayor Bai.

Mayor Bai had already packed everything up and was waiting for the two of them in front of the door. When he saw the Dai Residence's carriage come over, he bowed and amiably told Su Jin and Dai Zixian to not get off the car to salute as he got on the carriage to lead the way.
