"Kuchiki chan, someone's looking for you" a girl called "huh? Who is it?" She answered "I didn't know you have such a cool and handsome brother" the girl answered, giggled and skipped away. Rukia's eyes widened as she wonders why her brother will come to the world of the living- with worry she dashed out and went to meet him at the school campus gate "Byakuya aniki!!! What are you doing here?!?" She said in surprise. "Uhm, so where's Erza?" The man asked while brushing the back of his head "Seriously? You went all the way here and the first thing you'll say to your sister is -Erza?!?" She growled "well, I thought she's with you" he added scratching his chicks with his index finger looking away to hide his embarrassment and nodded.
Rukia placed her hands on her tummy and bent down a little as she laughed her heart out "what's funny?!?" Byakuya asked her, his face twitching and vein popping out in annoyance "You are funny, you have a crush on Erza? No I think you like her, my sister will finally be happy" she answered wiping the corner of her eye. "No I don't" he spat facing away arms crossed against his chest "yes you do, then why are you blushing?" Rukia teased.
"Rukia!!! Help me!!!" The red head screamed running towards her and stopped behind her resting her hands on her knees head bowed down panting "I really don't get it why can't I just beat the crap out of these guys?" She asked pointing at the group of boys chasing her eyes hearted. Rukia let out a small chuckle, "It's our cover remember, we need to be like normal girls weak and vulnerable" the raven hair girl reminded "they are too damn annoying" she blurted out when she realized that they are now sorrounded by male students and calling her out.
"Erza chan go out with me"
"Erza chan sign my uniform"
"Erza chan be my girlfriend"
"Erza chan marry me"
"Erza chan let's make a baby together"
All she can hear is "Erza chan" repeating endlessly that made her wish to have a different name. She secretly enjoys imagining herself screaming her lungs out and kicking their asses, punching their faces, breaking their necks and slashing them with her katana.
Byakuya gritted his teeth in anger with the last statement, he walked past the crowd placed his coat on Erza's shoulder who is sitting on the ground, eyes closed and hands covering her ears. He took one of her hand and pulled her to stand up. On the other side Ichigo did the same. Erza was shocked to see her stand by the two men pulling her up on each side. "Are you okay Erza?" The orange head asked "Kurusaki kun, what are you doing here?" Erza asked in confusion "I'm here now everything's gonna be okay" Ichigo conforted her looking at the boys like he's going to kill them. Byakuya felt jelous, he should be the one saying those words.
Byakuya grabbed Erza by the waist and pulled her in closer to him zeroing the gap, snatching her away from Ichigo. She felt outbalanced with the pull so she closed her eyes to brace for impact, he cupped her face and in a low deep sultry voice he called her attention "Erzie..." Their eyes locked and he placed a kiss on her slightly parted shievering lips. When she felt his lips, she surrendered, her hands landed on his shoulders and she grabbed the cloth on his shirt and shut her eyes.
Byakuya's lips alight on Erza's like a dew freckled petal caught in a breeze, he felt that her lips are so soft and with the smallest hint of coolness. Her cold trembling lips made him feel the warmth spreading through in his limbs and his mind trapped in a pleasant buzz. He can taste a faint sweetness and smell of strawberries which made him smirk on his kiss and pressed in passionately.
Erza froze. Time stopped, her heart came into a halt. Her breath caught in her throat. In her mind she talks to herself thinking "Damn, why do my heart beats so hard, he might hear it, it's too embarrassing!" With her eyes closed, head tilted upward feeling his lips made made her wonder "Why do I feel this? No, Erza pull yourself together" she scolds herself. She felt wierd as to the exact spot where their lips had come into contact burned and tingled. A hot blazing fire pulsed through her.
He pulled away silently but their slightly heavy half open eyes locked, like having a private conversation of their own. A small grin crept onto his face that made her cheeks painted itself with rose red. His fingers to where he held her hands locked together similar to puzzle pieces. His other hand released her waist and brushed the strand of red locks away from her face and kissed her forehead gently.
The boys were surprised. Some called out violently, others screaming out bad words and the rest trying to talk him out of it and wants him to get away from her. Rukia's jaw dropped and her eyes widened in circles.
Erza snapped back to reality and with panic she faced the jelous angry boys and the shocked Rukia and Ichigo, bowed an stated "I'm sorry if I forgot to tell you that I already have a boyfriend" she faked a smile and hugged Byakuya's arm as blood rushed to his cheeks and made him almost nosebleed in his mind "her boyfriend" he thought repeatedly.
The bell rang "Alright, nothing more to see here, go back to your classes" Ichigo said shooing them away. "Erza let's go back to the class" Rukia invited. Erza faced Byakuya but eyes averting his gaze "uhhm thank you for getting rid of them, uhhmm, about what I said, I'm sorry. I'll see you around" she said sheepishly while stuttering "ah, don't worry about it, everything's cool" he assured her. She bowed and reached forward and kissed him on his cheeks and ran after her two friends back to the room. He stared at them for a while with a smile and walked away "see you later Erzie" he whispered to himself.
"Care to tell us about what happened between you and my brother?' Rukia teased "I honestly don't know, he just did it and I kinda use it as an opportunity to get rid of those dumbasses, it's too embarassing, let's just not talk about it" Erza protested "Did you enjoy that kiss? I mean that wasn't even worthy of being called a kiss, let me show you how the real thing is done" Ichigo said annoyed "well, someone's jealous" Rukia said looking at Ichigo "No I'm not!!! I'm just saying, uhg, you know" defending himself in panic "Enough both of you" Erza commanded with a stern look "Yes ma'am" the two answered in unison saluting her and entered the classroom.
It's the end of the school day. Erza said her goodbye and Ichigo offered to walk her home but was grabbed by Rukia, so she headed back to Urahara Shop but decided to walk around a little due to the festival. "What the hell Rukia, I want to walk Erza home!!!" Ichigo growled pulling his arms away from her "hush, my brother will ask her out we are going to spy on them" she said with an evilish laugh.
"How are we going to that without being caught? They will definitely trace our reiatsu dummy" Kurasaki protested "Urahara will help us, he has something that we can use" she expalined pulling him towards the shop.
"Hello Kuchiki chan" greeted Tessai "hello tessai, where's Urahara?" She asked. Kisuke walked towards them and sat on the tatami matt floor "Where's Erza?" Rukia frowned at him "why does everybody keep asking me where she is, that's how you greet a customer?" The guy laughed behind his fan "I'm sorry, I just miss my shinku hime, so how can I help you?"
"Gosh Urahara it has just been a couple of hours you haven't seen her and your acting like her lover, we need a reiatsu concealing gigai"
"What for?" He asked not denying the lover part.
"Byakuya is going to ask Erza out for a date and we are going to spy on them"
"What?!? Alright, these is are on me and I'm coming with you"
"And why is that?" Ichigo got curious
"The same reason why you are going and besides I can't let my guard down, I must not loose to Kuchiki, Erza's mine"
"Don't you dare ruin my brother's date, he's been lonely long enough so if you do- I'll kill you!!!"
"You know I can't promise that"
"Fine, just please give this time to him, I owe you one"
Erza was walking around the festival area , she can't keep her mind off the kiss as she touches her lips and saw a familiar man under the sakura tree at the end of the bridge, he was tall with shoulder length straight black hair, his back slightly leaning down against the tree, left hand pocketed and right hand held a cellphone while he reads through it. "Stop imagining things" she whispered.
"Hi Erzie" he greeted. Erza turned her back facibg away and covered her ears "wait, what's going on? I can even hear him, this is bad" she mumbled then she felt a light tap on her shoulders "Hey, Erzie are you okay?" Said a familiar voice and she turned to face him her body stiffen and comedic eyes wide in surprise. "Wait are you real? You're really here?" She asked poking his cheeks.
He took her hand that is poking his face and kissed the top of it. "Yeah, I'm real and with you" he said with a cute smile and she just stared at him frozen. "So wanna hang out for a while and get something to eat? I still have plenty of time before going back to soul society" Erza just nodded in response "Let's go" he said holding her hand.
