Bab 34: Secret News
- Shen mansion backyard -
As expected, Nick Lang was lurking in the shadow and when he saw Marilyn Shen, he pulled her by the wrist and concealed them behind the bushes.
Wrapping his hand on her mouth and locking her body to his body..., he whispered," I come here to give you secret news! I only will let you go if you promise not to alert the guards!! Nodded for yes!!"
She nodded and he let her go...
"....."
"...."
"...."
After a long while..., Marilyn Shen's real identity was revealed and she was laughing at the life joke...
She was planning to kill her own father...
At that moment, her head was exploding and a surge if energy come forth...
Unforeseen..., she finally got a flashback from her old memory...
She remembered the bloody incident when she was eight years old..., she was coming out from her hiding place and her mother was grabbing her ankle...
"Marilyn..., I... need... to tell you something!"
"Mommy!!! Are you okay?!!"
"The emperor....is your real father..., go to him... and.... claim your right!!"
Then her mother turned cold in front of her and at that moment she was screaming in shock, fainted.., and lose her memory.
"Marshal Lang! What do you need me for?!!"
"Let's go to the Imperial City..., meet your biological father, the Emperor..., bring your daughter...!"
Marilyn Shen was coming out from behind the bushes when she bumped into commander Luo.
Unexpectedly, commander Luo had come upon them for a while and he was listening to the secret news.
"You're not Shane Lang full blood sister..., your real father annihilated the Lang clan..., I won't let you take Leah..., who knows what that Evil emperor would do to her!!"
Commander Luo was fond of Leah Shen..., even though he won't protect Marilyn Shen anymore..., he would protect the innocent child by all means!
At that moment, Leah Shen was out looking for her mother.
"Mommy!!!"
But commander Luo was grappling her by the waist and pulling his gun..., aiming it at Nick Lang.
"No one would take her away..., leave us!!"
Leah Shen was confused...
Innocently she was looking back and forward to both parties to decide who was the bad guy...
"Baby..., your daddy coming home with a new mommy..., I am going to see your grandpa..., what do you think?!!"
Leah Lee responded fast...
In a blink of an eye, she was biting Mark Luo's right wrist really hard...
"Ouch!!"
He dropped his gun that accidentally fired a bullet into the air...
The commotion caused all the guards within the perimeter running toward them.
Very quickly, Nick Lang shot Mark Luo on his chest and he instantly died on spot. His eyes were wide opened while blood oozing out from his heart.
He died with a broken heart...
Pulling his military cap down, so no one recognized him, Nick Lang shouted," Commander Luo was a spy and he was going to kidnap the little princess and killed the mistress!! Hurry and take his body away!!".
All the guards seemed to take his words and leaving them alone again.
Nick Lang was using that chance to ask Marilyn Shen to prepare for two horses.
They were on the horses and was waiting nearby the gate behind the bushes...
Then finally, the gate was opened so a group of guards could report the incident to Marshal Shen.
Immediately, Nick Lang was riding with Leah behind him and Marilyn was riding next to him, hence the guards realize that they have been tricked.
They couldn't aim the gun at Nick Lang worried that they would accidentally kill Leah.
Nick Lang smiled flamboyantly but it was no longer a charming grin, it was added with a tremendous spice of evil, since he was willing to be a demon just to possess Venusa Shen..., for her ravishing beauty..., for her inner beauty, and for her to become his concubine.
They were avoiding the main road since Damian Shen would come from that direction. Thus, just like the way he came in, they go around through the beach city.
To get to the Shen residence, Nick Lang was going through the back of the mountain and jump out from the cliff using a wingsuit and he also brought an inflatable rubber boat with him, both were a gift from his mother.
With his modern objects, he was able to go around to the beach city to avoid Marshal Shen soldiers, thus he was able to go to the Shen residence under the radar. It took double the time but it was worth doing.
Damian Shen was too late...
Nick Lang had kidnapped his daughter as a bargaining chip...
He had commanded all of his personal guards to look for them in all directions.
Finally, after one hour, one of them come back and reported, " They have gone by boat, they left the horses by the beach city".
"There was no way they could go to Emperor city by boat..., but they could go to Emperor mountain..., however, the way to the mountain from the sea was only through a dangerous cliff.., it's not safe to travel..., it's suicide unless he was using a high tech transportation to carry them through the air. But how does Nick Lang know of such technology?!", asked Venus with a confused look. Even though she was not close to Leah, she liked the little girl and she understood why Damian loved her, and she was not jealous of it because it was a different kind of love.
By loving his own daughter no matter what, despite the contrary, that her origin was started with tragedy and bad incident, it was a very powerful testament of greatness and the magnificent persona of her husband.
She was smiling proudly as she was thinking that she was marrying the best husband in the nation. That being said, she couldn't bear to see him sad.
"What's your plan, hubby?!!"
"It was too late to chase them..., let's go back to the headquarters and asked for our son's opinions. I believe he would have a great suggestion while my mind right now was unclear and muddy".

As predicted, the war was ended with the annihilation of Marshal Lang men.
At the meeting room, the Four legendary Wolves was huddling with Alex Lee and praised his strategy on sending help at the right moment to break the morale of the opponent army.
Alex Lee smiled smugly.
At that moment, Marshal Shen was entering the meeting room with Venusa right behind him.
"Alex, my son..., I need to talk to you!".
Lone Wolf finally connected the dot..., while his brothers were looking at each other indifferently.
Lone Wolf thought,' No wonder..., the prodigal genius identity was not simple...'
Meanwhile, Alex Lee was stunned by his dad calling him 'son' in public...
He didn't expect that he would expose his identity carelessly and incautiously...
-At the office -
When the door was closed behind them, Alex Lee asked with an anguished tone, " Why would you expose my identity? I want them to respect me not because my dad was a powerful Marshal. I want to make my own name in this world. And please call me... 'Young Master' in front of others".
Venusa sighed hard, both father and son had the same tendency of arrogance and dignity.
"Alex..., baby.., we have big issues..., your sister got kidnapped!!"
Coldly Alex Lee replied, " I expected them..., no worry.., I have a plan! Even though I don't fancy her..., I would save her!! Me.., the Young master!!"
Venusa was used with Alex's arrogance tendency but he was worry about Damian's reaction...
But unexpectedly, he hugged Alex tightly and softly said," No matter how genius and mature you are, in my eyes you are still my little son and my heir, and I hope you would still let me be a proud father of you!"
Alex Lee was stunned and for a moment time freeze...
But then emotionally, he called," Daddy!!!"
He was hugging his dad back and all the hurt when he thought that he didn't love him enough..., faded away...
Venusa felt the warmth within her inner part when she saw that they were connecting deeply as father and son.
She was remorseful of the past that had separated all of them because of some misunderstandings...
But now, she felt peace and serenity...
The loving view in front of her was heaven on earth...
She wanted this to last forever! Thus, they have to kill the evil emperor and take Leah back, so they could be a complete happy loving family.
