She quickly stood up, only to realize that the ache was back at her foot. She had hardly moved her body earlier that thinking about pain was the last thought on her mind.

But now that the distraction was gone, she could finally feel the full impact of what had just happened. She could tell that her face was probably burning up, not from the heat of passion but more likely due to mortification.

Who would not be embarrassed? The Count just caught them in a compromising position. She would think she should be getting used to this since this was not the first time. But guess again.

"What are you doing?" She asked herself as she temporarily closed her eyes, but the image of him only resurfaced, reminding her how he felt underneath the palm of her hands. She could still sense her fingertips tingling at how his muscles reacted to her touch.
