Bab 68: Chapter 68

She was back at her workstation, doing what she was supposed to do. But she was failing miserably. She had declined to work on the article about the Royal Wedding, but here she was, digging into the story.

It was not for her but for her daughter. She was not snooping around because of him. However, she would like to know what was the latest since her daughter was on her way closer to what she had searched for these past few months or probably her entire life.

Was she wrong when she agreed to the Count? She could still remember his words. "Let her live her life. Let fate decide." 

She hoped she would not regret trusting fate again. After all, it had failed her before. But what choice did she have as the Count's words replayed in her mind repeatedly?

"I promise I will not breathe a word about her true identity, not to her and not to anyone else. Not even to my most beloved grandson." Count Julius swore to her.
