He only slept a couple of hours, even after drinking three glasses of whiskey last night. It was not easy when his mind kept rewinding the other day's events.

He still could not believe that he had ended up in such a messy situation. He had avoided such a complicated matter by not involving himself in a relationship. It was his number one rule.

It was the reason why he and Eli worked because they both understood that it could not be anything more than just sex. Then, why did he allow this to happen? Why did he keep losing control when it came to her?

"Excuse me, Sir Liam. But your grandfather requests for your presence before you leave for work." Wesley stood straight, like a military soldier, wearing his impeccable suit, just like armor. He would have been a great general with how he and his grandfather plotted their schemes.
