Bab 45: Chapter 45

Her body was falling. It was all she could think about as she waited for the hard impact on the floor. It happened so fast that she did not have time to get out of the way or react.

She was in a hurry to return to the party since she realized she had been away for far too long. However, she did not expect to bump into anybody on her way out.

She automatically closed her eyes as instinct kicked into her system, expecting the inevitable pain. But Luisa never felt the pain as someone cradled her safely in a warm embrace.

Suddenly, she felt safe, aware of the gentle hands helping her back to her feet. Somehow, she never wanted them to let her go, loving how familiar and comfortable she felt with them around her.

"Are you alright, Luisa?" Panic knocked her back to the present as she suddenly recognized the familiar voice. Her eyes abruptly opened, confirming what she feared.
