As for the Royal Prince Gong Meschech himself, he was riding a black wyvern that was twice the size of the other wyverns. 

As a matter of fact, he was riding a 7th rank profound abyssal beast while the rest of his elite abyssal cultivators were all riding a 6th rank profound abyssal beast.
