Beauty Mei came down from the stage after being asked by Madam Shu. Madam Shu told her to go to serve Patriarch Su. Beauty Mei obediently went to Patriarch Su's room. Because he won the bid, Patriarch Su had been given the finest room tonight. 

Bai Xifeng's eyes followed Beauty Mei until she lost from her sight. 

"You seemed to take a liking to Beauty Mei. Why are you not bidding for her just now?" Yu Jianyu asked.

"No. It is nothing like that. I just pity her to be with someone as old as her great-grandfather." Bai Xifeng said.

"Well, it was her choice." Yu Jianyu smiled.

"Probably." Bai Xifeng nodded.

They ended the conversation about Beauty Mei there. They talked about something else like their family.
