Bab 381: After the battle(1)

The next day dawned with the gentle glow of the morning sun casting its warm rays over the battlefield of the previous day's conflict. The once tumultuous landscape now lay serene, bathed in the soft light of dawn. The air was crisp and cool, carrying with it the scent of damp earth and lingering traces of battle.

As the sun rose higher in the sky, its golden beams illuminated the scars of war etched into the land. Patches of trampled grass and churned earth bore witness to the fierce struggle that had unfolded just hours before. Broken weapons and scattered debris littered the ground, silent remnants of the fierce clash between opposing forces.

Despite the tranquility of the morning, the echoes of yesterday's battle lingered in the air, a somber reminder of the violence and strife that had engulfed the field. Yet, inside the sicilians camp all that could be seen were the happy faces of the soldiers.
