Immediately after the mark of anomaly was found, the air became still and cold.
'Yup, those void creatures are here, alright!' Yroa felt a shudder as his excitement was through the roof.
"Uhm, does that mark mean something?" Azel innocently asked.
"Well, you see. Right after I notified you of my departure, I'm actually exploring an ancient creepy site that has a great connection to that of a Void." With a downplaying smirk, Yroa fiddled around with his silver hair around his finger. "I awakened an obelisk that acts as a beacon between this reality and the world beyond our comprehension, and it seems like some creatures from that world have spilled over, slipping into this real world as we speak."
"So, I assume that the best course of action right now is to start the Landship's engine and run, right?" Azel said with her index finger pointed to the Landship's bridge. She was confident that this was the answer that his master kept in mind.
"Nope."
This chapter is supposed to be longer, but I got overwhelmed by work. In the meantime, Yroa got five extra slav-I mean, friends to order around!
