Bab 65: Chapter 60
Back at the Mountain House, Max first started cooking the soup, then went to practice with his hammer. Nothing too fancy, just swinging it, getting a good grip while throwing it at rocks.
And thankfully this time, Lucy didn't dare make fun of him, so he had some peace.

Soon dinner was ready, and after it he went back to practice under the night sky waiting for the simulator's cooldown.
While practicing, he could hear the explosions Lucy was causing on the other side of the mountain, although he just ignored it.
Suddenly, Lucy appeared in front of him.
"what is it Lu? I thought you were playing with gunpowder?"
'humans'.
Max immediately became cautious, "oh, are they the same ones from last time?"
Lucy just shook her little head.
"are they strong? And how many are there?"
'toys, just three toys'
Max couldn't help but feel tempted to go and rob them, but on second thought, it's not wise to garner attention just to rob some weak people. Whatever he gains from them shouldn't be worth the trouble.
"well if they keep moving around in the mountain, I don't mind testing my hammer on them, then send them to the afterlife as a thanks, but if they leave just let them."
Little Lu nodded and disappeared.

On the other side of the mountain, three adventurers, two men and one woman stood, witnessing a strange phenomenal.
In front of them, in a vast rocky-field, random rocks kept exploding on their own.
BOOM!. Boom.!
A tall black man, seeming to be the leader, spoke.
"miss Vivian, you payed very generously for your protection on this trip, but if you plan to go inside there, then I better refund the money right now."
Vivian, the policewoman that had a fight with Max back at glory city looked worried.
She never heard of such a strange thing and obviously didn't want to go inside.
She looked to the side at a somewhat imposing fat man with golden teeth. "Hu Wang, is this the location?"
Hu Wang, or previously called Boss Hu, the small leader of the gang Max used to hang out with.
surprisingly this guy is hanging out with the police for some reason, and he even reached E-rank while he previously was stuck at the F-rank.
Hu Wang shook his head immediately. "It's not. It should be on the mountain next to it."
Vivian sighed in relief. She was still a normal human, and dealing with a field of exploding rocks isn't within her capability.
She spoke to the leader. "boss Jaxon, we don't have to pass through here. We can just circle around it."
"alright miss Vivian. We won't rest, though. We'd keep moving through the night since this place gives me the creeps. It's like something is watching us."
Jaxon's expression was serious.
Vivian and Hu Wang didn't argue. They didn't have any experience in dealing with such matters, it's better to leave it to the expert.
Jaxon looked at boss Hu. "and you, Hu Wang, tell me how much time do we have to wait around before it appears?".
"I am honestly not sure. Maybe a weak or two?, there is no clear date on this thing, but it should be soon."
Jaxon just nodded, although not satisfied with the answer. "alright let's be on our way."

Max, on the other side, didn't even know that some of his acquaintances were among the three toys Lucy mentioned, and that they were actually watching Lucy's handiwork, thinking it was some natural calamity.
It can't be helped. Lucy didn't inform him, since even she didn't recognize them.
She usually disregards all humans other than Max. She even has some animosity towards them for different reasons.

Right now, Lucy stood in front of Max in her real body.
"so they left the mountain, are you sure?" confirmed Max.
Lucy nodded repeatedly.
"alright then, since we're clear, let's start the simulation. Thankfully, they left otherwise. We had to clean them up before starting. "
"Simulator start."
This time Max wanted to take a perfected skill out.
Either (dragon vine) or (emerald water), so he picked the first mountain to avoid unnecessary twists and turns, since the current Lucy is more than capable of dealing with the human city that would be built next to her.
simulation started.
[ding,] as the simulators started, Lucy lost focus.
