Bab 86: Bad Scenario

Elsie's Point of View

  I poked my head into Dad's room. Today he looked healthier than the previous days. I'm happy to see significant progress from him. My feet stepped lightly inside. Dad, who was reading the book in his hand, looked surprised at my arrival. A big smile greeted me in the morning. Then, I kissed his cheek.

  "Sorry I only got to visit you now," I said. "How are you?"

  He smirked at my response. There were wrinkles at the corners of his eyes as his lips curved upwards. "I'm fine." He patted the back of my hand very gently. "Aren't you going to have your exams soon, Elsie?"

  Ah this is my chance to tell her the surprise I've been keeping. I bit my lower lip while gripping his palm gently. "I intend to apply to Julliard."

  "Are you playing music again?" His mouth opened in delight, looking in disbelief at the information I had just given him. "Exciting news for me. Don't you know that I'm glad to hear that, Els?"
