Bab 184: Intimidation

"You're very strange," remarked Ragna, sliding down from the wall that encircled Cairn's ranch as Will bid farewell to the remaining challengers and returned from his gauntlet.

"I can be," conceded Will. "But what makes you say so?"

"Well, you have about as much Mana and Aura as a strong fart, but you always seem to have more to draw out..." responded Ragna, hooking her thumbs through the loops of her jeans as she added, "It's similar to how powerful Mages draw Mana directly from the environment using external Magic Circles, but you're doing it by simply breathing."

"It's because my Mana and Aura are so low," contended Will, adding, "I also routinely train with them depleted, so my body has had to adapt to autonomously produce it to sustain itself."
