Tong Yan was sitting by the chessboard, looking at the Go pieces scattered on the board and reflecting on something.

The stone door of the manor cave opened up slowly.

Zhao Layue opened her eyes, but she didn't strike, nor did she try to leave the cave.

Outside the stone door was a blackness possessing a considerably cold and gloomy intent; it was the mountain-sized body of the Dead Dog.

Zhao Layue suddenly clutched her chest, a surprised expression showing in her eyes.
